, August 22, 2000

Almost 56 years to the day after their B-24J Liberator vanished on a bombing raid, its crewmen were buried yesterday in Arlington National Cemetary. The plane was found in 1996 in eastern China, and Americans spent years identifying the crew. Members included 2nd Lt. George A. Ward of Jersey City, Staff Sgt. William A. Drager of Washington, New Jersey, and Pvt. Vincent J. Netherwood of Kingston, New York.
