Jack P. Smith on Mount Tamalpais, California

Photos by Neil Mishalov

Jack P. Smith has relocated to Mill Valley, California. On 19 April 2003, I had the pleasure of meeting him, and accompying him on a 5 hour hike on magnificant Mount Tamalpais. We hiked from downtown Mill Valley (elv. 100 ft.) up to the obscure and mostly unknown site (elv. 1,450 ft.) of a U.S. Navy plane that crashed on Mount Tamalpais on 30 November 1944.

Sadly, Jack passed away on 7 April 2004
