Gene and I did a little 5.6 mile hike in the Marin Headlands. We started at the Tennessee Valley Road parking area and hiked up the Coastal Trail to an overlook above Muir Beach; then we headed back to Tennessee Valley via the Fox Trail. About 2 hours and 50 minutes on the trails, and 1,330 feet of climbing.

The Berkeley Hills are just east of San Francisco Bay, and behind the Berkeley Hills, standing tall, is MOUNT DIABLO (3,849 feet). On the right, peeking out between two hills in the Marin Headlands, are a few tall office building in the financial district of San Francisco. The Bank of America building and the Transamerica Tower are identifiable.
