Seouksu-Dong Korea. 83rd Ordnance Battalion site photographed in 2009

Mr. OJIN KWON was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Seouksu-Dong in 1977. Mr. Kwon, who is in his 60's, enjoys taking photographs and in early September 2009, I received a few photos from him. The pictures showed that the Korean location of the U.S. Army 83rd Ordnance Battalion, has been replaced with the Daelim apartment complex. In addition, a 10 lane highway was constructed through what was once farm land behind the 83rd Ordnance compound. I contacted Mr. Kwon and asked him to send additional photographs of Seouksu-Dong and Anyang, if he had the opportunity to do so. Fortunately Mr. Kwon responded by sending photos of the streets and alleys of Seouksu-Dong. The pictures provided to me included embedded text; all text on the photographs is by Ojin Kwon. Thanks to Mr. Kwon for sending the photographs.
