The Can Tho Floating Water Market, and back to Ho Chi Minh City via the Mekong River: 16 March 2013

We stayed at the Victoria Hotel while in Can Tho. We took a 14 mile boat ride from the hotel to see the Can Tho Floating Water Market, and then we cruised down a river tributary to view a small farm. Below is the GPS tracked route.

About half way between Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City, the boat headed towards shore. Where were we going? It turned out we were going to see a brick manufacturing facility.

This is the Bitexco Financial Tower, it is 68 stories high and is the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City. That is a helicopter landing pad on the 52 floor.
